Son Bon Bon – Sizzling interpreters of Cuban music. This band plays authentic traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms like Son Montuno, Cha-Cha-Cha, Mambo, Ritmo-Afro and Bolero with contemporary energy, using musical motifs straight from the streets of Havana and Matanzas mixed with a touch of jazz and modern day Timba. Son Bon Bon’s sound is layered with classic Cuban swing and sophisticated influences like Sonora Matancera, Arsenio Rodriguez, and Miguelito Cuní. Lively percussion, pounding syncopated bass lines, brazenly exotic trumpet melodies, uninhibited improvisation and the sultry, sexy, dynamic lead vocal of Yumarya form the essential ingredients in a hot variety of freshly arranged vintage compositions.
